Welcome

neaver

I am an environmental planner who loves solving problems.  I became fascinated with the intersection of humans and ecosystems during my undergraduate years at Whitman College and my semester abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Sociology, I continued my research and education at the University of Colorado Denver and graduated with a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree in December 2013. I’ve been working in the planning field since 2011 and have primarily worked in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle and Bellingham). While I find a lot of joy in jumping into any project I can get my hands on, I’m happiest when I’m strategizing the best way to approach permitting large and complex multijurisdictional projects with marine or freshwater elements, such as light rail, utilities, highway, and renewable energy projects.
